Good quality, quick shipping

I ordered an Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) from Medicalgearoutfitters last week. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and I had no issues finding what I needed. It shipped pretty fast, took about 4 days to reach me in California. When it arrived, everything in the kit, like the CAT tourniquet and QuikClot gauze, was in good condition and sealed properly. I also appreciated that they included clear instructions for the decompression needles. I didn't need customer support, but the overall experience was smooth. The quality of the gear seems reliable for emergency use.

Reliable gear as usual

Another solid order from Medicalgearoutfitters. I've bought from them a few times now, mainly for refills like hemostatic gauze and pressure bandages. This time I picked up a couple more chest seals. Their quality is always consistent, which is why I keep coming back. The items always arrive well-packaged and within the expected timeframe, usually 3-5 days to my location. It's good to know I can count on them for authentic NAR products.

Got my SAM splint

Needed a SAM splint for my home kit. Found it on Medicalgearoutfitters. Site was easy to use, and it got here in like 5 days to Florida. It's just a splint, but it's the real deal. No complaints.

Got a good deal on a chest decompression kit

I was looking for a chest decompression kit and Medicalgearoutfitters had a decent price. I signed up for their newsletter and got a 10% off code which helped. The kit itself seemed to be good quality for what I paid. Shipping wasn't super fast, but it arrived within the estimated 7 business days. Overall, it felt like a worthwhile purchase, especially with the discount. I'm always looking for ways to save, and this worked out.

Anyone know if you can combine a first responder discount with like, a Black Friday deal or something? Trying to max out savings.

J Jared 1 month ago
Nah, usually you can only use one discount code at a time. I tried stacking my military discount with a sale once and it wouldn't let me.

AFAIK most places only let you use one coupon. It's usually either the professional discount or the sale price, whichever is better.

Thinking about getting a bulk order for our volunteer group. Do they offer any special pricing for larger quantities?

M Marcus Whitfield 1 month ago
I think they do, especially for agencies or groups. I'd reach out to their customer service, they usually have specific programs for that.

My fire department got a quote from them for a bunch of IFAKs and got a pretty good deal. Definitely worth asking.

Do they do any kind of discount for EMS or fire? I'm an EMT and looking to upgrade my med bag.

L Laura Okafor 2 weeks ago
Yep, definitely. They have a first responder discount, I got one as a nurse. You just gotta verify it, usually through some third-party thing or by contacting them.

Are their supplies HSA/FSA eligible? Trying to use up some funds before they expire.

R Rosa 1 month ago
I've heard some items are, but it's probably best to check the specific product pages or with your provider. Not everything always qualifies.

My flexible spending card worked for a few things I bought, like a first aid kit. So maybe? Check with your plan to be sure.

what's the return policy like if I order something and it's not what I expected? kinda hesitant on a big purchase.

A Anna 3 weeks ago
I returned an extra pressure bandage once, it was pretty straightforward. Just make sure it's within their window and unused.

Yeah returns were easy, did it last month for some gloves that were too small. Just follow the instructions on their site.

How does Medical Gear Outfitters compare to MyMedic? Looking for a new wilderness kit.

T Troy Whitfield 1 month ago
MGO tends to focus more on serious trauma gear, like what first responders use. MyMedic has good stuff too, but feels a bit more consumer-oriented in some kits.

I've used both. MGO seems to have a wider selection of individual components and pro-grade stuff. MyMedic is solid for pre-made kits though.

Thinking of grabbing one of those vehicle trauma kits for my truck. Does anyone know how long shipping usually takes to, say, Texas?

W Wendy 3 weeks ago
Mine got to Florida in about 4 days, so Texas probably similar, maybe 3-5 days usually.

I'm in California and it took like a week for my order. Depends on what you get maybe?

Hey, wondering if anyone's bought a CAT tourniquet from here? Are they legit or like, knockoffs you see on Amazon?

K Kevin Hughes 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I got a couple a few months back. They're the real deal, definitely authentic NAR ones.

Can confirm, got a chest seal and a SOF-T, all good. No sketchy stuff.
